Hot summer is behind us, and September welcomes us with sunny and warm days, ideal to take a stroll down streets of Belgrade. You can see a lot if you just walk through the city – pre-war architecture, fountains, streets where time seems to stand still, modern buildings, rivers and bridges, parks\u2026 If you are more in the mood for specific events, below we recommend a few things that are on the Belgrade menu in September.<\/p>\n

Flower Fair 2021<\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

From Friday, September 10th<\/sup>, Belgrade Fall Flower Fair 2021 will be held in Park Manje\u017e. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the offer of as many as 35 exhibitors from Serbia. Indoor flowers, various kinds of plants, cacti, as well as nursery gardens and additional material, pots and decorations will be for sale until September 19th<\/sup>. This is the perfect time to get a new houseplant that will make your autumn more beautiful, but also to ask the experts how to revive the one you already have. Exhibitors will do their best to answer all your questions, so don\u2019t miss this opportunity.<\/p>\n

Park Manje\u017e is one of the most famous parks in Belgrade. It\u2019s located below the Student Cultural Center, in Kralja Milana Street. For complete enjoyment, visit the Manje\u017e tavern in Svetozara Markovi\u0107a Street and breathe in the spirit of old Belgrade in a modern ambience.<\/p>\n

Exhibition of paintings by Momo Kapor<\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of the greatest chroniclers of the capital is certainly Momo Kapor. Most remember him as a writer whose books forever changed our perceptions of love, as well of those that so realistically described post-war Belgrade and life behind the gates of Zvezdara that we can clearly smell the scent of roasted peppers for local specialty \u201cajvar\u201d while reading his books.<\/p>\n

But Momo Kapor was also a painter, so at dusk of this summer, an exhibition of his works called \u201cThe Most Beautiful Stories\u201d was opened. Until November 6th<\/sup>, in the Grand Gallery of the House of Army, you will have the opportunity to see Momo\u2019s works, some of which have never been presented to the public, but are part of private collections.<\/p>\n

Grand gallery will be rearranged and divided into units with furniture and objects that this great artist used to create his paintings and literary works. Each picture will be accompanied by a story about why and in what way it was created, what was the inspiration. The stories are written by Momo in his distinguishable style that never goes out of fashion.<\/p>\n

During the exhibition, the documentary \u201cMomo Uncut\u201d will be shown periodically. Admission is free for all visitors.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget – Kapor was a bohemian, and just below the Army House is Skadarlija, a street of bohemians, artists and Belgrade\u2019s untold stories. Stop by to complete the experience and pay tribute to the artist who loved Belgrade.<\/p>\n

Belgrade Future Gaming<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Autumn fair season is upon us. A lot awaits us in the upcoming period, and one of the first is Belgrade Future Gaming. This is the largest fair of this type in Southeast Europe. During this event, you can get acquainted with the most modern offer, equipment, software support and accompanying services in the field of games of chance. Exhibitors are big names in the field of sports betting, slot machines, internet online games and the like.<\/p>\n
