We don\u2019t get much done in December, because we try to do everything. It\u2019s that time of the year when we try to spend more time with family and friends, to finish what we started business wise, buy gifts and actually get closure on a year behind us. We unmistakably believe in the magic of the New Year; in the changes it brings and resolutions we make – for new beginnings.<\/p>\n
Power of the New Year holidays is accompanied by optimism, enthusiasm and passion for new endeavors. This is further encouraged by the magic on the streets of Belgrade. Snow that made us happy this weekend is slowly melting but it does add to the experience.<\/p>\n

This year, Belgrade Winter<\/strong> event is happening at several locations in the city. It continues until the last day of January, and is accompanied by a rich cultural, artistic and entertainment program.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As every year, the focus is mostly on children, so by December 30, take your little ones to Fairytale Square<\/strong>, on the plateau in front of the Vuk Theater, in front of the Zvezdara municipality building. The repertoire includes Serbian folk tales, children\u2019s operas, puppet shows and concerts.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n New Year children\u2019s caravan<\/strong> started on December 13 and will last until January 21. As part of this segment of the event, the caravan will visit all Belgrade municipalities. Celebrity singers will perform in the musical part of the caravan, accompanied by school choirs from the municipalities where the program is held.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the first day of the New Year, Street of the Open Heart<\/strong> is traditionally organized in several Belgrade municipalities. Fun and a walk through the city after the craziest night is a tradition that our fellow citizens do not miss. The spirit of Belgrade is omnipresent during this event – the spirit that calls for unity, togetherness and love.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra is organizing the Music Bazaar<\/strong> – December 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. Different styles of music will take you on a trip around the world. Cheerful notes and festive mood will be additionally completed with the visit of the world virtuoso on the clarinet Kari Kriikku, who always lifts the audience to their feet with his tempo.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The warm-up for New Year\u2019s starts on Wednesday, December 29 on Nikola Pa\u0161i\u0107 Square at the Belgrade Rocks<\/strong> event. Urban & 4, Elektri\u010dni orgazam, Straight Mickey and the Boyz, Kanda, Kod\u017ea and Neboj\u0161a and Zoster will perform from 5 pm. On Thursday, December 30, at 5 pm, you will be greeted by Bjesovi, Paraf, Obojeni program, Artan Lili and Let 3. Nothing goes as well with the festive atmosphere of Belgrade as rock music.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the craziest night of the year, concerts<\/strong> are held at two locations – in front of the National Assembly and on the Sava promenade. Happening by the river is our choice, so we will step into 2022 with the music of Goran Bregovi\u0107.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n An unforgettable party awaits you, because there is no better party than the one on the streets of Belgrade. In fact, wherever you decide to celebrate the New Year, you can\u2019t go wrong – tavrens, restaurants, bars, clubs or the streets.
