Many are not fans of cold, rainy November days in the capital, but keep in mind that you can use such days for those activities that you avoid when the weather is nice. On the other hand, we offer you a few suggestions on how to go through November as quickly as possible.
Movie fans will be welcomed by the “Free Zone” festival in the first week of November. This event is held since 2005 and each time it slightly pushes the boundaries, opens our minds and expends our viewpoints. This year it’s happening in three cities – Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad. The grand opening is on Thursday November 4th with the movie “Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain”
Repertoire for 2021 has more than 60 films, both feature and documentary productions. Current topics such as ecology and daily politics at the world level, as well as a review of events from the past and their impact on the present, will be, as always, the focus of this festival.
This year, for the first time, there is a zone 8+ for the youngest festival audience, which was originally aimed at elementary school students. That way, they have the opportunity to learn about many modern life phenomena through films.
Accompanying program will also interest the biggest fans of the film, so we suggest you take a look at what’s on the repertoire as soon as possible.
The festival closes on Tuesday, November 9th.
The 17th International Fair of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources – EcoFair is planned for the last week of November. This topic, which has become more and more relevant in recent years, will gather interested parties at the manifestation of economic and educational character from November 23rd to 25th. Focus will be on environmental protection systems and mechanisms, and the topics are “green economy”, recycling industry and waste management.
In order to preserve the planet Earth and its natural resources, it is necessary to find ways to control the causes of pollution of land, water and air.
In addition to the exhibition program, there will be an accompanying professional program, and both will deal with all segments of environmental protection, as well as recycling. The exchange of environmental services and communal equipment will also be presented.
Winter sports fans favorite fair is definitely ExpoZim, which is being held for the 35th time this year. Planned dates are November 25th to 28th. Take the opportunity to find full gear for the season ahead in one place. What makes this fair special is the possibility of exchanging or servicing used equipment.
Manufacturers, importers, distributors and servicers of winter sports equipment for professionals and recreationists will gather in one place. In addition, the offer of more favorable tourist arrangements for ski resorts and hotels will be presented. Use this chance to secure your place on or next to the ski slopes in advance.
In addition, there will be supplementary programs – lectures, exhibitions, quizzes on knowledge of winter sports, as well as expert advice on safety on ski slopes.
We may meet at one of the events in November, but if you want to feel the Belgrade fall the right way, we are waiting for you on our deck.
